on a happier note...

while at lunch juz now....

I ask for roast chicken noodle with some wantan soup. And the lady ask me why not get a set instead which consist of 3 wantans, veges and the noodle. Then I told her that I dont want the plate of veges. She made an exception and said that she would gave me an extra wantan so that makes 4 wantans. I said fine...as long as dont see the greens on my plate. As I ate up my lunch and conted my wantans... I realised that she actually gave me extra 4 wantans. So in total I gobbled up 7 wantans for lunchie today.

In fact, I am contented now :p

But I still will go for my wander......

uurrgghhh!

My head hurts today..not becoz of a headache but there a lot of things and questions fills my head. And I can't seems to concentrate. I did not have a good head start this friday morning. I feel gloomy and the weather seems to agree.


Kim Nam perks me up a bit this morning with his antics but it doesnt last long.

I had wantan noodle with Richard to cheer me up during lunch. Now I feel bloated and I need a lie down.


I think I go for a wander myself after work later.

Second appointment

Second appointment : Saturday 22 July 2006 @ 0945hrs
Weight check:53.8kg (eeekkkkkkkk!!)
Test done: urine test, blood test and ultrasound
Baby: is fine so far and growing well. His legs are everywhere showing off his lil bird! So, no problem in confirming the gender.

Went swimming on that Saturday evening at Tampines Swimming Complex with Dearie. Entrance fee is $1.30 now and i remembered it used to be juz $0.30 during my kiddie days. First visit there and it was so damn pack with lil kids and big kids and also swimming instructors. Reminds me of my swimming lessons back in primary school. But I only managed to complete my beginers's course and not my intermediate ( cant remember why though!).
Later that nite, we went flat hunting again after not doing so for the past 2 mths. We had an eye on the flat at blk 266 which is near my mom's but the owner asked for 15k above valuation so looks like got no chance lah.

Continued flat hunting again on Sunday afternoon. 5 flats this time round. There one which is nicely renovated and clean layout as well but it's at St 42 and quite a distant to the mrt and central and also my mom's place. The valuation is rather high as well so, can just forget abt it!

Not our rezeki yet so far but I'm sure there's a perfect one waiting for us.

Ohh yess... last friday, had dinner with Bik Imah at Kallang for our occasional Soup meet up. Had Soup Otak lah (wat else!). Damn soup-er delicious coz dah lama tak cekik itu benda :p

Hope the baby pun like it as well....

pressie surprise

Reached home from work yesterday evening to find a humongous postpack in my room. I know what inside it..my long awaited coffee(Kenco) from UK. Roza posted it along time ago but it was directed back to her and this time round it make its way to Singapore at last. But to my surprise when I opened the Postpack and found a Warehouse sling bag with a bday card in it. Woohoooo..that was a nice surprise indeed and there also a hologram crystal of Pisa. Yeaaaaa!!

uuurrggghhh!

Oklah..my preggie look doesn’t seems to last..today I got no seat on the train and why am I making such a big deal out of this..? becoz to stand all the way from tampines to tanjong pagar is excruciating. A good 30mins train ride and compliments of crowded people standing back to back makes me feel like one of the Ayam brand sardines in tomato sauce. Plus the mrt macam takde air circulation! Very frustrating! Uuuurrggghhhh....

happy weekend

My weekend was a bliss! Took half day on Friday because i feel like a much needed break from rushing through the presentation of Kolkata for the past weeks. Dearie was at home on a 2-day mc which he fake a stomach flu. He had to finished up a photo-montage for a couple and due to loads of pc crashes, he had to do it at the last minute. So, i decided to be with him on that friday afternoon. Saturday was spent on me watching Mulan 2, Bewitched and Emperor's New Groove 2 ( which i only watched the first 20mins and found it a bit boring!)
Had a craving for McChicken while sleeping and woke up at 2am to tell Dearie that i'm hungry for McChicken. He offered to go get it but I felt that I would just sleep on it. Finally satisfied my cravings for McDonalds McChicken Sandwich on Sunday evening at McD TM. And Sunday was such a humid day. My whole body was sweating as if i'm living in an oven and the skin feels so 'melekit' Had a quick shower at 12midnite to cool my body off but still feel so hot after that.

An update of the week....

Was rushing through the Kolkata project due on 11 July and presentation for the clubhouse and schedule of accomodation needs to be completed by then.
Met up with Azlina on Wednesday in town for a dinner treat by her due to 3mths bonus. End up in Orchard Swensen. Had Chicken Baked Rice and Deep-fried Breaded Mushroom and Coit tower. I couldn't finished up the Coit tower..due of the lack of space in the stomach. :)
On Thursday, RMJM had a farewell lunch for Halim and Pat. We ordered in loads of Pizza nad KFC had sat thru lunch from 1pm - 3.30pm .. No bosses around so we eat on our own time and target. I can only manage to gobble down 1 piece of KFC and a pizza and a couple of spoonfuls of mashed potatoes. Only that and I already feel so bloated!

Thatz my update of week..

This week I'm entering into my 15th week or pregnancy and itz been fine so far. Thank God :p
For the past week, during my morn or eve train rides, I seems to get this weird stare from people in the train. They take a look at my bloated stomach prolly they are wondering if I'm pregnant or am I just 'buncit', den take a look at me, and maybe on their 2nd thought that 'Naah! She's too young to get get pregnant!'
And so I have to stand all the way to work until I reached Tanjong Pagar.....

But this moring, Dearie juz told me while walking towards the station that maybe today i will get a seat. And true enuf that as soon as we entered the train, this young lady look at us and immediately gave up her seat to me. So it felt that today, I officially look like a preggie as my bump is definitely getting more obvious.

i should start typing my mind again..itz been a year since i last visited this spot. I'm not very rajin ok. Since the last entry where i was in London a day after the bombing took place, so many things took a turn in my life journey.

::My 10 happy things since my last entry::
1. I graduated from University of Strathclyde on the 2nd November 2005 with a Masters in Advanced Architecture Design
2. I got job at RMJM Singapore and started working officially on 14th December 2005
3. I got married to my Dearie Fadly on the 25 / 26th February 2006
4. Chris and Rozanna managed to make their way all the way from UK to attend my BIG day. (and I appreciated their presence on my special day so much)
5. I went for my honeymoon to Mauritius on the 09 April 2006 - 16th April 2006 (courtesy of my dearest Mother)
6. I had a second honeymoon to Penang on the 28th April - 01 May 2006 (courtesy of my Aunty Wee and Uncle Nasser as a wedding gift)
7. I cast my first vote on the Elections 06' for Tampines on the 06 May 2006
8. I took my first pregnancy test on the 06 May 2006 and got a positive result
9. I took a second pregnancy test when I went to the doctor on Vesak Day - 12 May 2006
and he confirmed that I am in fact pregnant!
10. I finally made an appointment with Raffles Women's and Children's Clinic on the 03 July 2006 and saw my lil bundle of joy in me for the very first time.

and now I am in my second trimester and am pregnant for 14 weeks.
